Last night, Paul, Max and I went out for a walk and for some Korean food. Max was enthralled by the colourful restaurant and the change of scenery. Mom and Dad thoroughly enjoyed the food, each other's company, and their sweet and curious little boy. It was our best Friday night yet.

A Shot of Cuteness

Yesterday, Max had his two month check-up and his first round of vaccines with our family doctor. The little guy is doing great, and has continued to gain a solid ounce a day since being weighed last week. While he hated the shots (he had to have two of them in his chubby little thighs), he was pretty good about the whole ordeal, and he slept the whole walk home. The evening was a different story, however. Max was extra cranky and cried a ton until we gave him a dose of infant Tylenol and extra cuddles, which seemed to do the trick. He slept reasonably well last night, and was his usual, smiley and sweet self this morning. For now...

Mood Swing

Despite Max's love for his bouncy chair, he has rediscovered his swing. You can really see how much he has grown when you compare how much space he takes up in it.

Auntie T bought this onesie when I was only a couple of months pregnant. It totally cracked us up, and I imagined a happy, chubby baby wearing it. How perfectly Max fits that description (and the onesie)!

Visiting Friends

Last night was Max's first time out visiting friends. Dave, Kelley and their two gorgeous young sons, Kieran and Quinn, were very kind to have us over, and we had a fantastic time. Max loved being out and about, and he was quite taken by our wonderful hosts.
