Sweetie at Sunset

Max's teething woes seem to have improved, although he has declared 4-5:30 am to be "party time" for the past two nights. Despite feeling a bit tired, his dad and I are very happy that the Shmoo is back to his usual happy and playful self. Here are some pictures of him in our living room at sunset.

Now that the weather is a bit cooler and the sun less strong, the park is the best place for Max to crawl around and play. He particularly enjoys pulling out grass. He's more efficient than some lawnmowers. Luckily, he doesn't seem to want to eat said grass.

9 Months!

It's hard to believe that our little bear has been here for 9 months! And what an incredible 9 months it has been.

Dancing Max

Max has discovered music in a big way. Here's a short video I shot of him yesterday, listening to some tunes while watching the visualizer on my laptop. His reaction is priceless.

Little Sumo

I apologize for not having updated the blog this week as much as I usually do. Max has been cutting 2 teeth, and there have been some sleepless nights followed by cranky, exhausting days. I have had my hands full, to say the least. Here is a picture of my little Sumo during a rarer than usual happy period. I hope you all have a great Friday!

Water Baby

These pictures were taken over the weekend at the park near our house. Max fully embraced the bracing water in the wading pool. I think it's time to start looking into baby swim classes!

After the wading pool, Max dried off on the swings, soggy bum and all. As you can see from his face in the last picture, he quite enjoyed himself.

Max had a great visit with his Tio Patrick, Spanzie and his Welli. He misses them all already.

The way Max's hair is growing in is pretty hilarious. It's amazing how long the strands in the middle are, while the sides have only little baby chicken hairs. I think it's a pretty adorable look, don't you?

A Visit to Mommy's School

I had my graduation photos taken yesterday, and I was accompanied by Max and Paul. I even got to bring Max in as my "accessory" for the final shot. Afterwards, we hung out in the courtyard. Here are some pictures Paul took of the Shmoo and I.
