As of last night, it is clear that Max likes bath time. He wasn't convinced before, but the warm water and soft washcloth have finally sold him on the fact that baths are fun. It is still a two parent job, so no pictures of the actual bath, but here is the little guy right after:

Today, his withered little belly button stump finally fell off. He seems much happier without it. I must admit, as gross as it, I can't bear to throw it away. I will likely put it in a plastic baggie, only to pull it out when he is a teenager and confirm his fears that his mother is a lunatic.
Isn't his new bellybutton cute? Okay, fine, it still looks a bit strange, but that's what newborn bellybuttons are supposed to look like. He's only two weeks old! Doesn't he look happy?
