Yesterday was Earth Day- a perfect day to start cloth diapering little Max! We have been building up our cloth diaper stash for a while now and I am happy to say that we have officially made the switch. The timing couldn't have been more perfect: Max had developed a diaper rash from teething, which I believe was made much worse by regular diapers. My theory seems to hold true because after just one night of wearing cloth, it is almost completely gone! It's only a little more work to do cloth, or "fluff" as it's known in cloth-diapering mama circles, but I think that the benefits for Max's bum, and his planet, are well worth it. Cloth diapers have come a long way in the past decade. They are easy to use and to clean, and the ones I have don't require covers or pins. Plus, my little sweetheart somehow manages to look even cuter than usual in cloth... an added bonus.
