I feel like it is becoming a trend for me to start each post with an apology for not having posted in so long. This is no exception: sorry for the lack of posts. As you can probably imagine, life with my happy, adventurous, very active and into-everything 14 month old keeps me pretty busy. I will try to update more regularly but unfortunately I just don't have as much time (or energy) as I used to.
Let me you fill you in on what the past month has been like for Max. First, Weli (Abuela Paulina) and John came down to celebrate the little guy's first Chrismukkah with us. It was a good time had by all, despite the fact that Mommy and Baby were both getting over being sick. Next was an awesome adventure to the North to Elliot Lake. Upon returning to Toronto, Tio Paco came for a visit, which was a lot of fun, as usual. Lastly, Max and I took a wonderful trip to sunny Florida with Auntie T (and Max's fetal cousin) to visit Nanny. I have a million pictures, so I am going to try to give you a good sampling without overwhelming you. It's still a ridiculous amount of photos...

Here's a video of Max singing and playing his ukelele on Christmas morning.
First Trip to Elliot Lake
On the drive up to Elliot Lake
One of my favourite pics of Max of all time.
It was very cold (-26°C), which is surprisingly not typical for Elliot Lake, despite how far north it is from Toronto (about a 7 hour drive north or 539 km to be exact)
Max loved exploring the Hotel. There was even a salt water pool that he enjoyed swimming in.
Max was a great passenger.

Taken at the ROM at the Maya exhibit
On the subway home it was really crowded but Max wasn't fazed by the forest of legs.
End of December/ Early January at Home
Max's ukelele continues to be his most cherished toy
Sleepy baby
Enjoying an unseasonably warm afternoon
Max loves Montreal bagels with cream cheese. He can't help it, it's in his blood.
Trip to Florida
Helping Mama pack
At the airport, waaaaay too early in the morning. Max was by far the happiest person there.
Loving the high chair Nanny bought him (and the pasta)
Pizza
Lounging with Auntie T
Here's a video of Max at the dinner table. He had been falling asleep in his high chair, wiped out from a busy day. He perked up when I took out the camera to film him, as you will see:
The stars on these pajamas glow in the dark
Ready for the pool
I love this shot!
Reading with Nana
Trying on a hat during a trip to Target
Max seriously loved the pool. One of the heaters was broken and the water was pretty cold but he didn't care at all.
He fell asleep with his hair wet after a bath and this was the result.
Yaaaay!!! Great work cause I know that you had a mountain of pictures to go through!!!! And how you found the time with Max running around (as I explained to mom & dad, he doesn't walk, he sprints everywhere!!)
Love you and miss you and tell Max that his Tata misses him xoxoxo
