Fun, Full Day

Yesterday was another fun and busy day. Mommy and Nanny took Max to the mall to walk around, which he really seemed to like, just as he enjoyed the subway rides there and back. He also liked the trip to the grocery store in the evening. After a nice dinner at home, during which Max was extremely talkative, we went out for a walk. The little guy loves having his Nanny here, as does his Mommy.

Sweet Seven Month Old!

Max spent another fantastic day with his Nanny yesterday. I'm sorry I don't have more pictures of the day, but I was away writing my final exam. While I was doing that, Nanny watched Max. He slept most of the time I was gone and was very calm and happy when he awoke.

After my return, we went for a walk and then out for a celebratory burger at Hero Burger.

Back at home, I tried to transition Max to a new pacifier (designed for older babies), by attaching it to a cute plush monkey designed for that very purpose. The little guy wasn't buying it. He knew it was a poor substitute for Raffi. I will continue to try, but it seems it will be a process to wean him off his beloved giraffe.

"Ooooo- what's this?"

Max doesn't mind biting the monkey's leg, but he's not interested in the pacifier

"I'd rather chew on my hand than on that monkey."

 Max is so happy to get to spend more time with his Nanny.

The Punim had a great time hanging out with Nanny while his Mommy studied yesterday. It was a beautiful day, so they played and strolled around the park while I worked at a nearby picnic table. It was an arrangement that made everyone happy.

Back at home, the little guy had a bath (Mommy had help from Nanny and Uncle Todd) and then got lots of cuddles. It should also be noted that he sprouted 2 new teeth yesterday! Aside from copious amounts of drool and the fact that he wants to chew on everything, you would hardly know he's been teething. By the way, Max is 7 months old today!!! How quickly time passes.

Max Loves His Nannala

To say that Max has taken to his great-grandmother would be an understatement. He loves the voices she makes for him, the songs she sings, the bling she wears that he tries to grab, and even the cuddles she gives him. Yesterday, we went for a delicious brunch and dinner at Todd and Lisa's, and we also had some time to hang out at home and go for a walk with Nanny to show her our new neighbourhood. It was a fantastic day, and Max was all tired out at the end of it which led to another great night's sleep for our little Punim.
