Max's appointment with the doctor went surprisingly well yesterday. She was amazed at how strong, healthy and happy he is (he even smiled at her when she came into the examining room). When it was time for his shot, Max nursed happily, briefly glancing down at what she was doing, and resumed his feeding session without even making a peep. Afterwards, he was in a happy and playful mood which lasted all night. We don't have to go back until he's 1 year old! Maybe he was in such a good mood because he intuited that he wouldn't have to go back there for a while.

To emphasize how good of a mood Max was in last night, here's a short video of him playing with his Daddy. The sound of his laughter is the best sound I've ever heard.
