Chrismukkah in July

Now that Max is older and more active, we realized that we didn't have many developmentally appropriate toys for him to play with. So, we placed an order online for a variety of cause and effect type toys. When a big box was delivered yesterday, it was quite a sight. We aren't giving him everything at once to play with, but we did put out a few too many new things at first, which was a mistake. Max was totally overwhelmed! As first time parents, that was definitely a lesson learned.
Overwhelmed

Every toy becomes a teething toy eventually

Here's the little guy hanging out with me on the couch after suffering a bit of new toy burn-out. He has become very cuddly lately, and has even given me some very sweet, real hugs recently. Receiving these hugs is indescribably amazing.

If you look very carefully, you can see a new tooth up top!
