Nanny!

Unfortunately, I was incredibly sick yesterday with what I suspect was food poisoning. This coincided with Paul leaving to a conference out of town in the morning. Looking after Max on my own while being that sick was very, very difficult to say the least. He did cooperate by taking a couple of extended naps, but it was a very hard day for me nonetheless. Late in the afternoon, my wonderful Nanny arrived from Montreal to save the day. Even though Max hasn't spent much time with her before, he took to her right away. She played with him and entertained him while I got some much needed rest. I wish I had more pictures of their encounter, but considering how ill I was it's amazing that I remembered to take any at all. The little guy slept more than 12 hours last night and I am feeling like a new person, so we are both all ready for a new day of adventures.
