Mr. Independant

Watching Max grow and change never ceases to amaze me. He learns something new every day and becomes, well, more himself all the time. Here are some pictures of Max sitting on his own. I still keep the area around him well-cushioned, but he holds himself up for increasingly long periods and tumbles over less and less.

He actually managed to pick Raffi up off the blanket and get it in his mouth, all while sitting!
We tried something new yesterday when it comes to letting Max experiment with food. I made up some organic barley cereal with breast milk, loaded up Max's baby spoon and let him have a go at spoon feeding himself. Remarkably, he managed to get quite a bit of it in his mouth, so we did this until he'd finished his whole little bowl. He really seemed to love the process!

Yummy!

"I get this spoon thing. No problem!"

Oops- wrong end!

"How did that get there?"
Finally, here's a short video of Max showing us his unique brand of humour. I don't quite get why, but he thought that my bottle of Vitamin Water was hilarious. Maybe he was laughing at me for buying an overpriced bottle of diluted juice.

  1. What an adorable little munchkin:) I so wish that I could be there to watch him laugh in person!!!

On another note, it was so great to get to talk you last might Lea. Even though our chat may have been cut short by your boss; nevertheless, it was still awesome!!!

And last bot not least. I am pretty sure that he is in fact laughing at you for buying overpriced diluted juice. He is thinking "wow, I thought my mom was a savvier consumer, but hey now, hey now, don't dream, it's over!" Sorry, I just had to insert that crowded house reference, and I figured that was as good place as any.

    Love you lots, Noah
